He grew up for the first 6 years on the beaches of the Gulf coast around Gulfport and then moved to Middle Tennessee, first to Chattanooga where he started the first grade, then on to Murfreesboro. He remained in Murfreesboro through his sophomore year and then moved to Lynchburg Virginia to finish high school.
He attended Motlow State Community college and received a degree in Psychology. He also attended Trevecca Nazarene University where he received his BA in Management and Human Relations, and attended the Chandler School of theology at the Emory University in Atlanta where he received his degree in theology.
He has been a successful pastor in a main stream denomination for 26 years & is currently living in Liberty TN.
His dream of the last 27 years, to pastor a non-denominational church, has been realized recently, having been asked to pastor a new church plant, the Smithville Christian Fellowship Church, and continue at the newly non-denominational Church at Bright Hill.
He has also had many life experiences which help him relate to people who feel as if they can no longer approach God.
He invites everyone who is seeking a life rooted in the unchanging Word of God, to come and be a part of people who have proven their willingness to give up everything for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He has four children, three daughters and one son. He has 14 grandchildren, 8 granddaughters and 6 grandsons.
